Damn headaches

Had headache yesterday and today. it really damn annoyingly painful. ovulation headaches i think. dun wanna take painkiller but really cannot BD with the darn headaches leh... have to wait for next round :(

Tougher than I thought

Been trying to track my temperature and mucus but this really is tougher than i thought. its been more than 2 weeks, coming 3, and i still havent found out how to detect the fluid. could it be that i'm one of those women who don't ovulate monthly? i measured my temperature a full 2 days before the battery ran dry. so again, unable to track... hai, fated lah haha mabbe i better stick to my plan of 2 years honeymoon period. ;P even if it means i'll be a mother only when i past 30 :(

My first SPPA

Today we went to The Alumni Medical Centre at SGH for a talk, Joys of Marriage & Baby. I have to say, it was kind of a wasted trip, with only the final hour, the O&G talk by Dr Paul Tan (the reason we were there anyway) being of any interest whatsoever. Nonetheless, we tried to make the best of the wasted afternoon and took home some lessons, brochures and samples. I had previously signed up for the next session Sexual Intimacy & Planning a Baby – “A Recipe For Better Sex” on Jan 26th at HDB hub, but the lackluster of today's talk really made me have second thoughts. But i think we will still attend the Jan one lah. Dr Chua Yang is the gynae of one of my friends, so maybe i should at least go and check her out. I really don't know how else i can get to check out these gynaes without paying tonnes of consultation fees. and if i don't meet them, how i know if i wanna be treated by them or not?

Test

Most embarraasing... i had exported my blog entry to multiply, not realising that i had set all entries to be automatically exported. so my previous blog entry about the visit to gynae was publicised to ALL my frends on multiply. yes, even the men... fainted... hope the mess is corrected now

The Pap Test

Well, went for the pap test at last. Wasn't a barrel of laughs but certainly much much better than what i feared. down there kinda hurt for a while more but overall was pretty much manageable. will probably go there again next time.

My worst anniversary so far

Albeit the first anniversary...I had taken half day despite having lessons all the way til 3pm today. Yup, I din really have (too) much issue working the extra hours for a chance to get home early to prepare for our anniversary dinner. Upon reaching home, Ming had booked us a dinner table at Mortons! Ouch, that would have set us back over a hundred bucks. I thought it was better we reminise our anniversary where we were married, so plans were rapidly changed.

After dressing up and such, I received a call from office. There must be a term used to have one's mood changed 180 degrees. Realising a big f-up in my work, all mood was destroyed for the day I had much anticipated. Travelling to the hotel was done in a sullen silence. Dinner was alright I guess, but just couldn't muster up the mood to be cheery with all the things I had to redo at work the next day. All the things i wanted to do on this special day had lost its charm. One of the worst things I had done was also to make Ming miserable with me :(

Stretchmark cream

Saturday bought some stretchmark cream (RP $52.90) from The Body Shop. gave it a good rubbing in with the massager (RP $16.95) and really hope that it will clear my pre-existing stretchmarks. the sales girl (and i) doubt it can be used when pregnant though. but will ask the gyane when it happens. The pregnancy kit i ordered also arrived. Now is safely in my drawer awaiting my next cycle. =)

Sunday (Sitex day) popped by Shan's place to play with little baby Matthew. He should be just over one year old now and was totally adorable! he kept trying to crawl on me and his granny told me meant that i got yuan fen with baby (gonna have one soon that kinda thing) hahaha i hope so ;P She asked us when we gonna have our baby, so i shared with her that i was now taking folic acid =) cross fingers
